This is my art work. It describes my creative side of me. I have drew-in my sad side my calm side and my colourful side.

I did this to learn more about art. To show others that I'm not the kid that is always shy and blank.

I have learnt more about myself and more about the features of Picasso plus how creative i really am.

Holy Spirit in the Scripture

In Religious Education me and my class have been looking at the old testament. I have been looking at water and why it is a symbol of God. I learnt this from the scripture of........Psalm 42 : 1 - 2 Water

God is a symbol of water because he is as gentle as a flowing river. He moves like a big wave heading for shore. He surrounds the earth to keep the world safe.

Dear Lord Jesus, we bless you for dying on the cross for me. I will try my best to be like you in loving, caring and understanding. You went through those 14 steps of helplessness but still thought of others, and for that we bless you again. Amen.....

RACE FOR LIFE

Yes! It’s athletics day. The day of fun and sometimes sadness. The St Pius children gathered in to their groups Keas,Geckos,Tuis and Kiwis. Athletics is a time to kick back. To chill, and to RACE FOR LIFE!

I walked nervously to the starting line.
“OK boys,” said Mr Gaffeny, “on your marks get set. GO!” I ran with fear,fear of coming last. I tried to catch up to the others but that didn't work.
I came last . I walked back to our tar-pollen. I trembled down with sadness.

I felt so useless, I was feeling weak, and dead. felt like I never wanted to move again. But to see the other kids have so much fun I wanted to run and move. The chance has come when I heard Mrs Pole say.... “Can I have Keas & Geckos pleas, for the relay race pleas. It was my time to shine. Finally we were set up to race. I was seventh in line, then sixth, then fifth, then fourth, than third, second. I was next in line, I really wanted to run all the way to the back. I was to late.
I was up and shaking. “GO”!!! shouted the team I bate the person in front of me i turned and I ran back, I felt good. As soon as I sat back in line we were done. everyone was finish.

Although we lost it still felt good to have a little run around.

Best mass ever

It was Wednesday the day of ashes. We, room7 and the whole school sat down and waited for father Iosefa, he lowly started to move as we sang the entrance hymn. Mass has nearly come to an end but father has one more thing to do, the blessing of the net books. every student from yr5
to 8 stood up loud and proud,we were blessed by father with holy water so that we would choose to use these tools for the right reason not the wrong.
